Our Mission

To alleviate human suffering, help people and communities rebuild their lives, and create the conditions for a dignified, resilient, and peaceful future.

Our Vision

A resilient Ukraine where people live with dignity, freedom, and security, have opportunities to grow and confidence in the future, and where strong communities work together to build a peaceful and prosperous society.

Who we support

Charitable Organisation Charitable Foundation “New Dawn” supports people and communities across Ukraine affected by war, forced displacement, and related crises.

We pay particular attention to internally displaced persons (IDPs), residents of frontline and war-affected communities, families with children, older people, persons with disabilities, and others experiencing vulnerable circumstances.

We aim not only to respond in moments of urgent need but also to support people on their path towards recovery and self-reliance. Together with communities, we work to restore housing, essential services, livelihoods, and critical infrastructure, creating the conditions for a more resilient future.

In our work, we cooperate with local and national authorities, humanitarian coordination mechanisms, civil society organisations, international partners, and communities themselves to ensure that assistance responds to people’s actual needs and complements collective efforts.

Our Values

Humanity

People, their dignity, and their lives are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to stand by people in the most difficult moments, alleviate suffering, and provide support with respect, care, and understanding.

Development

We believe that meaningful assistance should not only address immediate needs but also open a path forward. That is why we help people and communities recover, become stronger, and create new opportunities for their future.

Freedom

We believe in every person’s right to live freely, safely, and with dignity, to shape their own future, and to fulfil their potential. For us, freedom is inseparable from respect for human rights, equality, and responsibility.

Love

For us, love means caring enough to act. It is expressed through compassion, care, and a genuine commitment to helping people overcome difficult circumstances, regain their strength, and see a future ahead once again.

Friendship

We build relationships based on trust, mutual respect, and a willingness to act together. We value the people, communities, and partners with whom we join forces, because we believe that the most difficult challenges can only be overcome through cooperation and solidarity.

Commitment

We take responsibility and follow through on what we start. For us, commitment is more than a promise to help — it is a daily readiness to act, remain present, and work towards real and lasting change.

Our key areas of work

Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response

We provide assistance to people affected by war and forced displacement, including essential items, food and non-food assistance, cash support, and other forms of assistance based on identified needs.

Shelter and Recovery

We help families restore war-damaged homes, support emergency repairs, and implement solutions that enable people to remain in or return to their communities in safe and dignified conditions.

Water, Sanitation and Critical Infrastructure

We restore and strengthen water supply systems and other critical infrastructure and implement solutions that enhance the energy autonomy and resilience of communities.

Livelihoods and Self-Reliance

We support individuals and families in restoring their livelihoods, agricultural activities, and other opportunities for self-reliance, helping humanitarian assistance become a foundation for greater independence and long-term development.

Community Support and Recovery

We work directly with communities to identify their priority needs and support solutions that contribute to the restoration of essential services, social cohesion, and long-term resilience.

Coordination and Partnerships

We cooperate with public authorities, humanitarian clusters, Ukrainian and international organisations, and other partners. Effective coordination helps prevent duplication, make better use of limited resources, and provide more comprehensive support to people and communities.

How to support us

Fifth year of war in Ukraine: Thousands of people are still counting on your support.

The days and months of violence, trauma, loss, destruction, and displacement for the people of Ukraine are ongoing. Millions of people have fled, but many are displaced and are uprooted from their homes, separated from their families. Many have stayed in their destroyed villages despite risk of attack. Help us reach more people in need.
